Pokémon TCG, Umbreon EX (XY—Fates Collide #119)

About Umbreon-EX 119/124 Full Art Ultra Rare from Fates Collide

Umbreon-EX 119/124 Full Art Ultra Rare is a standout collector's card from Pokémon TCG, released in the Fates Collide expansion in XY series. This single raw card features a full-page holofoil illustration by Ryo Ueda and is recognized as one of the most sought-after Ultra Rare cards among collectors of the XY era. The card was released in 2016 and has since become a popular chase card for both Umbreon enthusiasts and dedicated Pokémon collectors.

Card features and gameplay mechanics

Umbreon-EX 119/124 is a Basic Pokémon-EX with Darkness type and 170 HP. The card has two signature attacks:

• Veil of Darkness: Deals 20 damage and allows the player to discard any number of cards from their hand and draw the same number of cards.
• Endgame: Deals 70 damage. If this attack Knocks Out a Mega Evolution Pokémon, the player may take two additional Prize cards.

As with all Pokémon-EX, the EX rule applies: when Umbreon-EX is Knocked Out, the opponent takes two Prize cards. The card has a ×2 Weakness to Fighting, −20 Resistance to Psychic and a Retreat Cost of one. It is no longer legal in the Standard format but can still be used in Expanded.

Visual and collector highlights

The Full Art version of Umbreon-EX (119/124) is distinct from the regular print with its full-illustration artwork and Ultra Rare status. Ryo Ueda's artwork emphasizes Umbreon's characteristic dark expression, making the card a visual centerpiece in any collection. This variant is a standalone checklist entry and ranks among the most sought-after cards in Fates Collide, alongside other Full Art and Secret Rare cards from the same expansion.

Umbreon-EX 119/124 appeals especially to collectors aiming to complete their Fates Collide set, those who collect Full Art EX cards, or anyone focused on Umbreon as a collector's figure. You can also explore more XY single cards or view the full selection of Pokémon single cards in the shop.
