Illumineer’s Trove: A premium product that typically includes extra accessories and booster packs, perfect for those who want a bit of everything.

In addition, Hyperia City introduces a new gameplay element, Ink Drops, which provides a one-time boost to ink power and thus adds a new strategic dimension to the game.

How Hyperia City differs from other Lorcana expansions

What truly sets Disney Lorcana Hyperia City apart from previous Lorcana expansions is the combination of theme, new IPs, and innovative card types. Where earlier sets often featured classic Disney motifs, Hyperia City offers a modern, vibrant metropolis with distinct districts and an urban-fantasy flair. The debut of Coco characters like Miguel Rivera – Street Musician and Héctor Rivera – Street Musician is a highlight, as it’s the first time this franchise appears in Lorcana.

Moreover, Hyperia City introduces new "chase" elements such as Iconic treatments and special location cards, for example Land of the Dead – Marigold Bridge and Merlin’s Shop and Smithy – Magical Market. These cards often feature unique art direction and lore value, making them especially attractive to collectors. Compared to other sets, Hyperia City also brings a new gameplay resource system with Ink Drops, which can significantly change game dynamics.

How to choose the right Hyperia City product

Choosing the right Disney Lorcana Hyperia City product depends on your goals as a collector or player. Consider the following when deciding:

If you are new to the Lorcana universe or want to build a solid foundation, a starter deck can be a good introduction. For dedicated collectors or players hunting specific chase cards, booster displays or Illumineer’s Trove are often the best options, as they provide access to more packs and therefore greater variety and chances for rarities.

Keep an eye on card rarity, special treatments like Iconic or Enchanted, and the first Coco cards, which will often be among the most sought-after. Hyperia City is especially interesting for those who value unique cards, new gameplay mechanics, and the opportunity to expand their Lorcana collection with something truly special.
