Different product formats in the Reign of Jafar series

The Reign of Jafar series offers several product formats, each aimed at different types of collectors and players. The most popular formats are booster packs, booster displays and Illumineer's Trove. A booster pack contains a selection of random cards and is ideal for draft, sealed play and the ongoing hunt for rare variants. Booster displays collect multiple booster packs in a single box, increasing the chance of finding the sought-after Enchanted full-art chase cards and providing a solid starting point for both sealed collectors and those who want to open many packs at once.

Illumineer's Trove is the most complete product format in the series. Here you get not only multiple booster packs, but also exclusive accessories such as storage boxes, dice and tokens – perfect for collectors who want both functionality and presentation. How to choose the right Reign of Jafar product

Choosing the right product format depends on your approach to your Lorcana collection. For many collectors, the hunt for Enchanted chase cards and the set's most iconic cards like Stitch — Experiment 626 (Enchanted), It Means No Worries (Enchanted) and Into the Unknown (Enchanted) is a key factor. Here are some considerations to help you choose:

Booster packs: Good for ongoing collecting, trading and casual pack opening.

Booster display: Greater chance to hit rare variants, ideal for sealed collectors and events.

Illumineer's Trove: Complete solution with both cards and accessories, perfect for those who want it all together.

Regardless of which format you choose, you'll have access to a wide selection of cards across Lorcana's colors and ink combinations – from Amber/Amethyst to Ruby/Steel and beyond. This makes Reign of Jafar a versatile set that can both expand existing decks and strengthen your collection with new, exciting variants.

Reign of Jafar in the Lorcana universe

Reign of Jafar holds a special place in the Lorcana ecosystem as Set 8 and continues the collecting tradition that defines the series. The set is designed to be combined with earlier Lorcana releases, so both new and experienced players can integrate the new cards into their decks and binders. For collectors, it's especially the Enchanted editions and the unique full-art chase cards that attract attention – but also powerful character cards like Jafar — High Sultan of Lorcana and Jasmine — Steady Strategist have their place in any serious Lorcana collection.

If you've already built a collection from previous Lorcana sets, you'll find that Reign of Jafar expands the possibilities for both deckbuilding and display.
