What is Disney Lorcana Into the Inklands?

Disney Lorcana Into the Inklands is the third set in the Lorcana TCG series, giving both collectors and players access to new mechanics, characters, and card types. The set marks a decisive step in the development of the Lorcana universe, especially with the introduction of the groundbreaking Location cards. Here you get an in-depth introduction to what Into the Inklands offers and how it differs from previous Lorcana sets. If you want to explore the entire Lorcana series, you can find a complete overview at Disney Lorcana.

Differences between Into the Inklands and previous Lorcana sets

Into the Inklands stands out as the first Lorcana set to introduce Location cards — an entirely new card type that adds strategic depth to the game. These cards represent iconic locations from the Disney universe, and their unique effects can significantly alter game dynamics. The set also expands the character roster with figures from lesser-known Disney franchises such as DuckTales, TaleSpin, Treasure Planet, and Atlantis: The Lost Empire, giving collectors the chance to find new favorites and rare variants.

Additionally, Into the Inklands addresses previous distribution challenges through improved logistics, making it easier for both players and collectors to obtain the products. With 227 cards in the set (including 18 Enchanted cards and several alternate variants), there are plenty of opportunities to chase everything from Dreamborn glimmers to exclusive Gift Set cards.
