Game mechanics: Frog Song and Doubleslap

Politoed Neo Discovery 8/75 has two central abilities: the Pokémon Power Frog Song and the attack Doubleslap. Frog Song can increase damage by 40 if there are more than three Poliwag, Poliwhirl, Poliwrath and/or Politoed in play – including the opponent's Pokémon. The effect is inactive if Politoed is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed. Doubleslap requires two Water Energy and two Colorless Energy and deals 40 damage for each “heads” on two coin flips. These mechanics reflect the strategic depth characteristic of the Neo Discovery set.
