Details about Pokémon Infernape LV.X 121/130 Diamond & Pearl

Pokémon Infernape LV.X 121/130 from the Diamond & Pearl series is a notable single card that represents an important era in the Pokémon TCG. The card was released in 2007 and is illustrated by Shizurow. This card is a raw, single card and comes without accessories.

Gameplay mechanics and features

• Card name: Infernape LV.X
• Card number: 121/130
• Set: Diamond & Pearl
• Type: Fire
• HP: 120
• Rarity: Rare Holo LV.X
• Illustrator: Shizurow
• Card type: Level-Up (placed on an active Infernape)

As a Level-Up card, Infernape LV.X must be placed on top of an active Infernape, granting access to the card's own abilities and attacks as well as those from the previous Level. Its Poké-Power, Burning Head, lets you look at the top three cards of your deck, choose one to your hand, and discard the other two — but only if Infernape is not affected by a Special Condition. The attack Flare Up does 150 damage but requires that you have eight Fire Energy cards in your discard pile, which are then shuffled back into the deck. This mechanic was groundbreaking for its time and gives the card strategic depth.

Collectability and rarity

Infernape LV.X 121/130 is sought after by collectors, particularly due to the combination of the holo effect, LV.X mechanics, and its connection to the Diamond & Pearl era. The card is often described as a chase card from the set and holds a special status among Diamond & Pearl cards. Its Fire type and the distinctive artwork by Shizurow contribute further to its collectability. Please note that the product is a raw single card and that condition, edition, and language cannot be guaranteed without physical inspection.
