Pokémon TCG, Giovanni's Scheme (XY—BREAKthrough #162)

Giovanni's Scheme 162/162 Ultra Rare – Pokémon TCG XY—BREAKthrough

Giovanni's Scheme 162/162 is an Ultra Rare Full Art Supporter card from the Pokémon TCG XY—BREAKthrough expansion, released in 2015. This English, loose single card (raw card) is illustrated by Ken Sugimori and features a distinct Giovanni/Team Rocket theme, making it an ideal choice for both collectors and players from the XY era.

Gameplay and strategic use

As a Trainer — Supporter card, Giovanni's Scheme offers two flexible options when played:

• Draw cards until you have five cards in your hand.
• Your Pokémon's attack does 20 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon this turn (before Weakness and Resistance).

You may only play one Supporter card per turn, giving you the option to either strengthen your hand or increase your offense. This versatility makes the card relevant in many deck types and strategies.

Collector appeal and visual features

Giovanni's Scheme 162/162 is the Ultra Rare Full Art print from the BREAKthrough set. It differs from the standard version (#138/162) through its Full Art design and holofoil finish. Ken Sugimori's illustration makes the card especially attractive to collectors of XY single cards and fans of character cards with a Team Rocket theme.

The card is particularly suited for collectors who focus on Full Art Supporter cards or Giovanni-themed motifs.
