Details on Dark Marowak 7/109 from EX Team Rocket Returns

Dark Marowak 7/109 EX Team Rocket Returns is an authentic, English Pokémon TCG card from the sought-after EX series. Released in 2004 by The Pokémon Company, this Rare Holo Pokémon card marks an important era in the Pokémon collecting world. The card is illustrated by the acclaimed Mitsuhiro Arita and captures the distinctive “Dark Pokémon” aesthetic characteristic of the EX Team Rocket Returns set.

Key features and collector value

This card is offered as a raw single card – that is, a loose card, neither graded nor sealed. Dark Marowak is a Stage 1 Pokémon that evolves from Cubone and has 70 HP. The card combines Fighting and Darkness typing, which was unique for the EX era. With two iconic attacks, Brick Smash (30 damage, ignores Resistance and certain effects) and Hard Bone (70 damage, requires discarding a Basic or Evolution card from the hand), the card holds both collector and nostalgic value for former players. Weakness is Grass ×2, and the retreat cost is one Colorless Energy. The card is only legal in Unlimited format and not in Standard or Expanded.
