Pokémon TCG, Dark Hypno (EX Team Rocket Returns #6)

Details about Dark Hypno 6/109 from EX Team Rocket Returns

Dark Hypno 6/109 is an English Rare Holo Pokémon card from the 2004 EX Team Rocket Returns set. The card is part of the EX series, which marks a return to the Team Rocket theme and introduces “Dark Pokémon” to a new generation of collectors and players. With its distinctive holographic surface and iconic artwork by Kouki Saitou, this card is a natural choice for collectors of Pokémon single cards that value historical and thematic significance.

Card mechanics and features

Dark Hypno is a Stage 1 Psychic-type Pokémon with 70 HP, evolving from Drowzee. The card is known for its unique attacks and strategic options in play:

• Dark Link: Allows, by coin flip, copying an attack from another of your Pokémon that has “Dark” in its name (except Dark Hypno itself). The copied attack does not require its normal Energy cost, but other requirements still apply.
• Black Magic: Deals 20 damage for each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon – an attack that can apply tactical pressure to your opponent.
• Weakness: Psychic ×2
• Resistance: Dragon −30
• Retreat Cost: 1

The card is sold as a raw single card – it is not graded, not sealed, and no condition guarantee is provided. This is important if you care about the card's physical condition in your collection.

Collector interest and vintage value

As an English Pokémon TCG card from 2004, Dark Hypno 6/109 offers both nostalgic and thematic value. It's ideal for those looking to expand their collection with a piece of Pokémon history from the EX series.
