Two variants: Assault on Asgard and Skirmish at the Sanctum

Magic: The Gathering | Marvel: Darkhold Destiny Scene Box is available in two separate variants, each focusing on a central Marvel location:

• Assault on Asgard Scene Box: Recreates a dramatic scene from the Asgard universe.
• Skirmish at the Sanctum Scene Box: Features Doctor Strange defending the Sanctum Sanctorum on Bleecker Street.

Each Scene Box is sold individually and contains six unique borderless foil scene cards that together form a complete illustration.

Contents and collector potential

These scene cards are designed for display and provide a visual experience that combines the Magic universe with Marvel's iconic storytelling. The Scene Box format differs significantly from traditional booster boxes and Commander decks, as the focus here is on illustration, collecting enjoyment, and display value rather than gameplay mechanics.

Marvel theme and illustrations

The Darkhold Destiny Scene Box series is part of the Universes Beyond collaboration, where Magic: The Gathering brings Marvel's characters and universes into the card game. Each variant depicts a central scene — either from Asgard or Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum — and is a natural choice for collectors who want to combine their passion for Magic and Marvel.
