Magic the Gathering: Invasion Tournament Pack Display

About Invasion Tournament Pack Display

Magic the Gathering: The Invasion Tournament Pack Display is an authentic, sealed collector product from Wizards of the Coast, released in conjunction with the iconic Invasion set on October 2, 2000. This display represents the first release in the Invasion block and is a sought-after item for both dedicated collectors and Magic enthusiasts who appreciate original sealed products from Magic the Gathering's history. The product is officially English-language, printed in the USA, and tournament packs from this era are characterized by having only an outer seal — there is no inner seal, which is important to note for collectors focused on authenticity.

Contents and specifications

An Invasion Tournament Pack Display consists of 12 sealed tournament packs, each containing 75 cards. These tournament packs were designed for limited play and sealed-deck tournaments of the period, but today they are especially valued for their historical and collectible significance. The contents of each tournament pack are carefully collated and follow the classic distribution from the Invasion set:

• 3 rares
• 10 uncommons
• 32 commons
• 30 basic lands

The Invasion set consists of a total of 350 cards, distributed as 110 commons, 110 uncommons, 110 rares and 20 basic lands. This sealed display is therefore a unique opportunity to preserve a piece of Magic history in its original form.

Collector focus

The Invasion Tournament Pack Display differs significantly from a traditional booster box, as each tournament pack contains more cards and a fixed collation, making the product particularly attractive to collectors who want to preserve or open a piece of Magic the Gathering history. The sealed status, the verified USA production and the original outer seal make this display a sought-after item among collectors of Magic the Gathering sealed products.

Details about the Invasion set

Invasion marks the beginning of the Invasion block and is known for its color integration and mechanics that set the standard for many later Magic sets. This sealed display is therefore not only a collector's item but also a piece of Magic history that illustrates the game's development around the turn of the millennium.
