Pokémon TCG: Numel #198 PSA 9 - Japanese

Details about Numel 198/193 – MEGA Dream ex Art Rare (PSA 9, Japanese)

Numel 198/193 is a Japanese Art Rare (AR) Pokémon card from the MEGA Dream ex release, issued on November 28, 2025 as part of the Japanese M2a high class pack. This example is professionally graded to PSA 9, which means it appears in near-mint condition – an important factor for serious collectors of Graded cards.

PSA 9: Condition and collector potential

That a card is graded to PSA 9 means it has only minimal, almost invisible flaws and appears nearly perfect. For collectors of Japanese Pokémon cards, this condition is especially sought after, as it guarantees both authenticity and a high level of preservation. PSA 9 is only one step below the maximum grade, making this Numel card an attractive addition for anyone seeking quality and documented authenticity.

Illustration and card design

As an Art Rare (AR), Numel 198/193 is characterized by a fully illustrated front that stands out markedly from standard cards. The motif shows Numel (ドンメル) in an atmospheric, colorful setting — a feature that makes AR cards popular among both collectors and fans of Pokémon TCG single cards. The illustrator credited for the artwork is listed differently across official databases, so the artist's name cannot be stated definitively without a clear official reference.

Game features and attributes

• Type: Fire-type Basic Pokémon
• HP: 80
• Ability: Incandescent Body – if Numel is Active and is hit by an attack, the attacker becomes Burned
• Attack: Combustion (20 damage)
• Card number: 198/193
• Rarity: AR (Art Rare)

These attributes make the card interesting both for collectors and players who appreciate unique, visually striking cards with distinctive abilities.
