Pokémon TCG: Latias & Latios Gx #169 PSA 9 - Team Up

Latias & Latios-GX #169/181 PSA 9 – Team Up Ultra Rare

For collectors and enthusiasts seeking a standout piece of Pokémon history, Latias & Latios-GX #169/181 from Sun & Moon—Team Up is an iconic choice. This is the official Ultra Rare full-art version of the TAG TEAM GX card, here graded to PSA 9. The card represents not only a highlight of the GX era but also a collectible that unites two of the Hoenn region's most beloved Legendary Pokémon.

PSA 9: Condition and collector potential

That the card is PSA 9-graded means it has been assessed to be in near-mint to mint condition by PSA – one of the world's leading grading authorities for collectible cards. For collectors, this grading provides added assurance of the card's quality and preservation. The PSA 9 status underscores that the card appears exceptionally well kept, which is central to both collector enjoyment and long-term storage.

TAG TEAM GX mechanics and the card's attacks

Latias & Latios-GX is a Dragon-type TAG TEAM GX card with 250 HP, making it both powerful and sought after in play. The TAG TEAM rule means the opponent takes three Prize Cards if this card is Knocked Out – a significant risk, but also an expression of the card's strength.

• Buster Purge: Deals 240 damage in exchange for discarding three Energy from the card (requires 1 Water and 2 Psychic Energy).
• Aero Unit-GX: Lets you move up to five Basic Energy from the discard pile to your Pokémon. With extra Energy, it protects against damage and effects next turn. Only one GX attack may be used per game.

The illustration was created by 5ban Graphics and highlights the duo's dynamism, making this full-art edition visually unique among TAG TEAM cards.

Full-art Ultra Rare and variant differences

This card is #169/181 – the standard Ultra Rare full-art version from Team Up. It differs from #113/181 (Double Rare) and #170/181 (alternate full-art). For collectors looking to build a complete Team Up collection or specialize in Graded cards, this version is a natural choice.

Latias and Latios, also known as the Eon duo, hold a special place in the Pokémon universe and are frequently sought after by collectors of Pokémon single cards and Pokémon cards from the Sun & Moon era.
