Collector and TCG relevance
Bulbasaur #037 holds a special place in the Pokémon cards history as part of the First Partner Illustration Collection and highlights Bulbasaur's status as the Kanto starter (Pokédex #1). Its promo status and the modern Mega Evolution context make the card especially attractive to collectors, particularly in this PSA 10 grade. Saboteri's illustration gives the card a unique visual expression, and the holofoil finish elegantly showcases the artwork.
Although the card is playable in both Standard and Expanded formats thanks to regulation mark J, it is primarily a collector's item. Most choose to keep it encapsulated to preserve condition and authenticity.
